Looks great!
Could you also: - Give any further details as to what dimensions the battery area is. - Put up Some pictures of what just the components are in this kit. - Is this chassis the same wheelbase as stock? - a little info about how Lexan compares to CF Thanks and good luck with this kit, for the price it looks like a great option! |

Let's see the batt pack dims are 1.26"x1.61" and it fits snug.
The chassis is slightly longer than stock. Note the shock towers in second picture. Lexan is light weight and strong but more flexible than CF so a thicker bottom plate is needed. There are some more pics in the assembly thread, basically the kit is the pcb plate and the bottom plate. http://www.ripper7racing.com/r7rforu...read.php?t=736 I'll see what I can't do to consolidate all the info into one thread. |

I have the stock weight no battery at 86g, but I'm not sure if this was with or without the body
The eXo-t with no battery 75.4g, with the body 80.1g, with battery 114.2 I have added to the Assembly Instructions. http://www.ripper7racing.com/r7rforu...read.php?t=736 and a couple pics...... ![]()

um Rip, is the chassis a solid piece of lexan or is it cut out like in your pics? It's hard to tell if the black parts are just vinyl stickers or what....
Given that all my micro-t action is mostly outside on dirty, dusty-arse concrete.

Sorry, it is solid lexan, the black is just a decal. Of course you will still get from the sides and top but the body does a pretty good job of protecting those areas.

All I can say is it is a very nice pakage. Both chassis plates and decals It is well worth it to get one of these chassis kits. I'll have pictures up tomorrow.

Glad you like and don't forget to set the wheelbase, the amount of play in the front end won't seem like much but it only takes a tiny bit for these things to pull one direction. Also set the servo prior to completion, it's a pain to disassemble to move the servo a bit, because of the crappie stock servo you don't have a lot of options when mounting the servo saver but I found if you get the servo saver mounted and than mount the servo in the chassis with the wheels centered you can get it almost dead on. I hope this makes since, I'm tired and sick so I'm rambling again......
